LOGBOOK SERVICING

The manufacturer’s warranty, which covers the cost of repairs and replacement of failed parts in new vehicles, is only valid if the vehicle is serviced according to the manufacturer’s service schedule and paramaters laid out in the vehicle’s logbook.

These services can only be performed by a certified mechanic, who records and stamps the logbook to keep a record of the vehicle’s servicing history.

ROADWORTHY CERTIFICATES & OTHER VEHICLE INSPECTIONS

Whenever a vehicle changes owners, a roadworthy certificate is required before it can be driven by the new owner. This certificate is issued by a licensed tester, after a thorough inspection which ensures the vehicle meets the safety standards to be safely driven on Victorian roads.

If you’re thinking about buying a secondhand vehicle, we would recommend you organise a pre-purchase inspection. This ensures you know exactly what you’re buying, and helps you avoid any nasty surprises.

Pre-trip inspections are great for peace of mind on long road trips or camping trips. Make sure your vehicle is in a good condition before you head out, and you won’t have to worry about breakdowns in the middle of nowhere!

BRAKE REPAIRS

AIR CONDITIONING SERVICES

There’s not much worse than being stuck in traffic on a hot day with no air conditioning. Your aircon relies on a series of rubber tubing and seals, which dry up and crack when not used, allowing the refrigerant gas to leak out and rob your system of its cooling power.

Here at Chapel Corner Automotive, we can fully repair your air conditioning, starting by swapping out broken condensers and compressors, then replacing any cracked tubing and seals, and finally regassing your system with refrigerant once we’re certain it’s airtight.

COOLING SYSTEM SERVICES

Issues with your vehicle’s cooling system can cause decreased fuel efficiency, power output, and engine lifespan, as leaking coolant and overheating damages the engine.
